Learning objectives
The number of learning objectives depends on the length of your WBT. You can define one learning objective per chapter.
30 learning minutes result, for example 1 intro and 3 chapters and 1 ending, also 5 learning objectives.
In the intro chapter, you demonstrate the high relevance of the topic and spark your learners' interest. The ending chapter always includes a motivating call to action, contact persons, and further information.
Always formulate your learning objectives in the following linguistic form:
You are aware on the importance of the topic...
You understand the binding nature and the consequence of…
You master the basics of...
You can name all parts that...
You know who or what can support you with this topic...
Determine specific learning objectives #
General objectives describe subject-oriented content and methods, but still allow a high degree of abstraction and room for interpretation.
Example of a broad learning objective:
You can name different motivation models.
Describe your specific learning objective in great detail, unambiguously, and precisely. This turns your general learning objective into a concrete specific learning objective.
