The length of your WBT is given in learning minutes. This is the time an average learner needs to complete your WBT.
Your learning material determines the length of your WBT.
Your WBT should be no shorter than 5 minutes and no longer than 45 minutes (like a class period) because otherwise you will lose your learners' attention.
If you have more material to convey than 45 learning minutes, it's better to divide the material across two or more WBTs.
Generally speaking, the shorter your WBT, the more effective it is!
Most WBTs are 30 learning minutes long, by the way.
Very compact WBTs that are shorter than 15 minutes are called Learning Nuggets or Nuggets for short.
